Art Forms: Wishlist & Newly Tried

Shar Yanambaka

Creativity has a way of pulling us into its orbit, sparking joy in the simplest moments and urging us to try something new. Each artistic medium is a world of its own—full of vibrant ideas, unexpected lessons, and plenty of excitement.

Embroidery: Stitching My Way to Something Special

Embroidery is my latest creative obsession. There’s something magical about watching a design take shape one stitch at a time, the threads coming together like a tapestry of patience and color. My first piece is still in progress, and every thread feels like a tiny triumph. I can’t wait to unveil the finished project and share the story behind its creation.

Clay Projects: Adding Art to Everyday Items

Working with clay has been on my mind, and I’m eager to dive into projects like decorating vases or creating intricate decorative pieces. Air-dry or polymer clay offers so much versatility—perfect for crafting unique home accents or experimenting with shapes and textures. It’s a hands-on art form that feels grounding and endlessly creative.

Pottery: Crafting Functional Beauty

Pottery is another dream waiting to be realized. The idea of shaping clay on a wheel, turning it into bowls, mugs, or vases, and then watching it transform in a kiln is nothing short of mesmerizing. It’s a mix of precision and creativity, and I can’t wait to experience the joy of crafting functional art with my own hands.

Textured Painting: Depth on the Canvas

Textured painting is all about adding dimension to a blank canvas, and it’s an art form I’m eager to explore. From palette knives to mixed media, the possibilities are as vast as the layers I hope to create. I’m excited to experiment with textures and bring a new kind of depth to my paintings.

Resin & Jewelry: Sparkling Ideas

Speaking of depth and dimension, resin art and jewelry-making are also calling to me. The way resin captures light and preserves delicate details feels like pure magic. Whether creating jewelry or decorative keepsakes, this art form is as exciting as it is beautiful.

What’s Next?

Each new project brings its own rhythm and reward, and my creative journey continues to evolve with every idea. As I explore embroidery, dream about clay and pottery projects, and imagine textured canvases and sparkling resin pieces, I’m reminded that creativity knows no bounds.

What’s on your artistic wishlist? Let’s keep dreaming, creating, and sharing our passions! 🌟
